    1. The molecular weight of this product is not determined. However, historical data indicates an overall molecular weight of approximately 280,000 daltons. There is a ratio of 1:2.5 for PEDOT:PSS.

  2. How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.     1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

  5. Can I use this dispersion for making a PEDOT:PSS channel of OECT(Organic Electrochemical Transistor) using spin coating? Code -483095

    1. PEDOT:PSS can be applied for spin coating and Organic Electrochemical Transistors (OECTs). Here is a paper working on PEDOT:PSS based OECTs: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S095656632100138X.
      Unfortunately, 483095 hasn't been tested for that application, but it is worth trying.

  6. Can the PDOT be filtered through a 0.45 μm memberane filter. How do you recommend the 483095-250G to be filtered ?

    1. The filtration of PEDOT:PSS is not recommended. There are publications which suggest that this is possible, however customers have noted difficulty in filtration as well as separation.

  7. You mentioned that deposited PEODT: PSS can withstand temperatures in excess of 200 degree celcius for a short duration. May I know how "short" it is? Is it for a few hours?

    1. PEDOT:PSS films can withstand 200 °C for up to 12 hours.

    1. Yes, applied PEDOT:PSS films can be patterned by laser ablation.

  9. What is the temperature stability of this poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate), PEDOT:PSS, product?

    1. Deposited poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate), PEDOT:PSS, films can easily withstand temperatures in excess of 200°C for short duration and around 70°C in continuous service.  The aqueous dispersions of PEDOT:PSS, however, can be damaged by heating above 50°C for a prolonged period.

  10. Is this PEDOT:PSS, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate), product p-doped or n-doped?

    1. This PEDOT:PSS product is based on hole-doped or P-type polymers. PEDOT can be n-doped, but the materials are too unstable to be of any commercial value.
