一般描述

Red-Al®双(2-甲氧基乙氧基)氢化铝钠[NaAlH2(OCH2CH2OCH3)2]可用作有机合成的多功能还原剂。它用于还原:

  • 醛、酮、酯和酸酐成为一级醇。
  • 酮肟和醛肟成为一级胺。
  • 内酯和环氧化物等环状化合物转化为二元醇。


它还用作开环聚合反应的催化剂。[1][2][3]

SBAH是一种还原剂,用于还原羰基、酰胺、环氧化物、酯和羧酸等官能团。[4]

应用

Red-Al®双(2-甲氧基乙氧基)氢化铝钠可用作:       
  • 对甲苯磺酰基脱保护剂。[5]       
  • 催化剂,在4族金属茂配合物存在下通过Si-Si脱氢偶联反应催化聚乙烯硅烷(PVS)的交联。[6]       
  • 还原剂,用于合成具有旋光活性的N-保护氨基醇和肽醇。[7]

用于将N-Boc氨基酸二级酰胺高效还原为手性二胺。[8]

Red-Al®, or sodium bis(2-methoxyethoxy)aluminum dihydride (Vitride®, SMEAH), is a versatile reducing agent and a good substitute for LiAlH4 in many reactions. Red-Al® is nonpyrophoric, although still moisture-sensitive, and is available in solution, allowing for easier handling compared to LiAlH4.

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
