The detailed protein purification process for this product is considered proprietary. This material is a native-source (non-recombinant) animal product with no affinity tag. The purification process is a modification of a CTAB-precipitation method of Tettamanti & Pigman (Arch. Biochem. Biophys. 124:41–50, 1968) and is then dialyzed against water (no buffer salts). The final pH is approximately 5–6. There are no buffer salts present in the final product and the material is not purified under native conditions.
