BW B70C has been used as a 5-lipoxygenase inhibitor to study its effects on eryptosis in erythrocytes.[1]

Biochem/physiol Actions

Selective 5-lipoxygenase inhibitor.

BW B70C exhibits anti-inflammatory and anti-tumorigenic activities.[2] It exhibits therapeutic effects against hepatocellular carcinoma.[3] BW B70C plays a role in allergen-induced bronchoconstriction by reducing the allergic airway closure and glycoconjugate secretion.[4]
