Fluazifop-methyl is an aryloxyphenoxy herbicide, that inhibits the activity of acetyl Coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme in the fatty acid biosynthesis.
Fluazifop is not approved for use in European Union (EU) as per Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009.

Application

The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
Fluazifop-methyl CRM may also be used as given below:

• High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) based isolation of haloxyfop enantiomers and their enantioselective analysis from soil extracts using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry
