General description

The EZ-Stream® vacuum filtration pump is specifically designed for microbiological analysis. The compact design makes the pump ideal for use on both the work bench and in the laminar air flow hood, where its small footprint saves laboratory space. With the EZ-Stream® pump, the vacuum is provided by a maintenance-free diaphragm and specific check valves that allow liquids to run through the pump. There is no need to use any waste containers normally associated with traditional air pumps or an in-house vacuum. This frees up space in the laboratory working area and eliminates the need for repeated emptying of heavy waste containers. Thanks to its innovative design, the pump has a high-performance flow rate.

EZ-STREAM® vacuum filtration pump is used for microbiology analysis. It is ideal for handling of both liquids and gases, making it suitable for many life science laboratory applications as well.

    1. The EZ-Stream Pump is intended for microbiological testing with membrane filtration; typically, for water or beverage testing. Any chemical used with the EZ-Stream Pump should be compatible with its Material of Construction:

      Housing: Acrylonitrile styrene acrylate - polycarbonate (ASA-PC)
      Hose barbs*: Polyoxymethylene (POM)
      Hose barb gaskets: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
      Feet: Natural rubber (NR)
      Tactile button LEDs: Polycarbonate (PC)
      Pump membranes*: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM)
      Pump valves*: Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM)
