Zmodyfikowany Tween^®-Letheen-Broth ma znacznie lepszą zawartość składników odżywczych w porównaniu do Letheen-Broth, dzięki zwiększeniu stężenia peptonu mięsnego oraz dodaniu kazeiny i ekstraktu drożdżowego jako źródła witamin. Skuteczność środków inaktywujących została również poprawiona poprzez dodanie tiosiarczanu sodu (neutralizuje jod i chlor) oraz wodorosiarczynu sodu (neutralizuje formaldehyd, uwalniacze formaldehydu i aldehyd glutarowy).

Zmodyfikowany Tween^® -Letheen-Broth jest przeznaczony do oznaczania liczby drobnoustrojów w obecności pozostałości środków dezynfekujących.
