Opis

Scopolamine, also known as hyoscine, is a naturally-derived medication used to treat postoperative nausea and vomiting and motion sickness. Produced as a secondary metabolite of plants from the nightshade family, this tropane alkaloid is considered a contaminant in cereal-based foods by the European Commission. This certified solution standard is suitable for use as critical starting materials in calibrators and controls for chromatographic and mass spectrometry testing applications in clinical toxicology, food testing, and forensic analysis.
