If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. How do you recommend dissolving Product No. 447439, 1-Methyl-L-tryptophan?

This product is soluble in 0.5 N Hydrochloric acid at 50 mg/mL. Based on information from one of our customers (not confirmed in our labs), this product is also soluble in 0.1 N sodium hydroxide at a 20 mM concentration. It is not soluble in DMSO.
