Application

Sodium methoxide may be used as a derivatization reagent to enhance the sensitivity of detection for the subsequent determination of organonitrogen herbicides and fungicide analytes in food samples,[1] and bound fatty acids from acylglycerols, alkylacylglycerols, galactosyldiacylglycerols, glycerophospholipids, and sterol esters[2] by gas chromatography (GC) based techniques.
