This antibody recognizes both the soluble and membrane bound human IL-6 receptor. The antibody will inhibit IL-6 mediated proliferation of XG-1 cells and partially blocks the binding of IL-6 to its receptor.
Immunogen
CHO cells transfected with a cDNA of the human IL-6 receptor.
Application
Flow cytometry: 1:50. Use 10 μL of this dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100 μL.
Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections.
Immunoprecipitation.
ELISA
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
