Description

General description

A cell-permeable 1,3-disubstituted urea compound that displays anti-hypertensive and anti-inflammatory properties. Acts as a potent, selective, competitive, and tight-binding transition-state analog inhibitor of soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH; IC₅₀ = 9.8 nM for mouse recombinant sEH, 85.2 nM for human recombinant sEH). Reported to decrease human VSMC (vascular smooth muscle cell) proliferation.
