General description

Metaboric can be prepared in three crystal forms; orthorhombic α, monoclinic β, cubic γ. 1 Detailed study of the monoclinic and cubic structures of the acid has been reported.[1] Metaboric acid can be obtained by heating boric acid at 120oC for 4h.[2]
