Application

El producto P8038, también denominado subtilisina Carlsberg, se ha utilizado para hidrolizar células cardiacas destinadas al estudio del silenciamiento del NHE1 mitocondrial cardiaco[1].
La enzima de Sigma se ha utilizado para optimizar la liberación de todas las poblaciones mitocondriales del tejido ventricular homogeneizado de corazón de rata.[2] También se ha utilizado en el tratamiento pre-hibridación de muestras de hígado fijadas en formalina e incluidas en cera de parafina para detectar ADN humano y vírico.[3]
Biochem/physiol Actions
Las proteinasas catabolizan las proteínas mediante hidrólisis de los enlaces peptídicos. Las proteasas son inactivadas por los inhibidores del sitio activo de serina, como el fluoruro de fenilmetilsulfonilo (PMSF) y el diisopropilfluorofosfato.
