General description

ORBO 53 Activated Silica Gel (20/40) specially cleaned, 400/200 mg with Glass Fiber Filters consists of two beds of the same selective adsorbent separated by glass, wool, or foam. The dual-layer or two-bed construction of the tube allows for any sample breakthrough to be captured in the smaller backup bed.

Application

ORBO 53 Activated Silica Gel (20/40) specially cleaned, 400/200 mg with Glass Fiber Filters have been used for active sampling of acid gases, specifically formic and acetic acid, and for collecting inorganic acids in cleanroom air.
