Application

A selective medium for the enumeration of yeasts and moulds in foodstuffs where the growth of bacteria must be inhibited.

Preparation Note

Suspend 32g in 1 litre demineralised water. Boil whilst stirring until completely dissolved. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool agar to 45 - 50°C, mix well and pour plates.
