Cholesteryl phosphocholine (CholPC) structure has hydrophobic region and a large polar head group.[1] Chol-C10-PC (10-cholesteryloxy decylphosphocholine) has decylphosphocholine attached to cholesterol.
Acciones bioquímicas o fisiológicas
The presence of phosphocholine in the head group of cholesteryl phosphocholine (CholPC) enables shielding of the lipid complex from interaction with water.[2]
