Application

A selective agar suitable for the isolation of Salmonella, Shigella and coliform bacteria from foods, urine, faeces, waste water, etc.

Preparation Note

Suspend 50g in 1 litre demineralised water. Boil whilst stirring until completely dissolved. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 45 -50°C. Mix well and pour plates.
