General description
N-Cyclopropyl-2,4,6-triamino-1,3,5-triazine, also known as cyromazine, is an insect growth regulator(IGR) that is commonly used as an insecticide. It undergoes metabolism in plants and animals to form melamine. Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopic study indicates that it interacts with the surface of silver colloid through the lone pair on nitrogen.

A simple, convenient and high selective molecularly imprinted matrix solid-phase dispersion (MI-MSPD) using water-compatible cyromazine-imprinted polymer as adsorbent was proposed for the rapid screening of melamine from bovine milk coupled with liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection. The molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) synthesized

Closely related invasive species may often displace one another, but it is often difficult to determine mechanisms because of the historical nature of these events. The leafmining flies Liriomyza sativae and Liriomyza trifolii have become serious invasive agricultural pests throughout

Under field conditions, species displacements have occurred in different directions between the same invasive species of leafminers (Diptera: Agromyzidae). Liriomyza sativae (Blanchard) was displaced by L. trifolii (Burgess) in the western United States, with evidence suggesting that lower insecticide susceptibility
