一般說明

性别决定区Y框蛋白9(SOX9)基因定位于人类染色体17q24.3。该基因主要在成人组织以及胎儿睾丸和骨骼组织中表达。它由两个功能结构域组成:高迁移率基团(HMG)DNA结合结构域和C端反式激活结构域。

生化/生理作用
