应用

β-桉叶醇用于：
  • 作为一种治疗方法测试其抗氧化、抗炎、细胞保存对人真皮成纤维细胞（HDF）的作用[2]
  • 作为参考标准品，通过气相色谱-质谱分析（GC/MS）研究代谢工程大肠肝菌提取的萜类合成酶（Tps）基因是否编码β-桉叶醇合成酶[3]
  • 测试单纯疱疹病毒 I 型（HSV-1）的抗病毒效果[4]
  • 测试其对可卡因诱导的真涡虫行为的逆转作用[1]

生化/生理作用

β-桉叶醇具有很多药理作用，[2]是存在于许多精油中的有效成分，具有抗氧化性、抗菌活性等特征。[5]β-桉叶醇在毛豹皮樟树叶精油[6]和台湾杉树枝精油中[7]分别表现出抗真菌活性和抗木材腐烂真菌活性。它能抑制肿瘤细胞的增殖、生长和人肿瘤细胞的迁移。[8][9]β-桉叶醇对神经系统有多种保护作用。[1]
