Maneb is a manganese containing wide spectrum fungicide that belongs to the class of ethylene bis-dithiocarbamate (EBDC) compounds. It is commonly used to protect crops such as apples, pears, tobacco, grains, and beets.
應用
The maneb analytical standard can be used:
For the simultaneous determination of maneb along with its main metabolites from tomatoes using liquid chromatography
In the supramolecular liquid phase microextraction based UV-Vis spectrophotometric determination of maneb in food and water samples
For the spectrophotometric determination of maneb with 1-(2′-Pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN)
To determine Maneb, Zineb, and their decomposition product with 2,6-dibromoquinone chlorimide (DBQ) and 2,6-dichloroquinone chlorimide (DCQ) by spectrophotometry

A rapid, sensitive, simple and selective spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of micro-quantities of maneb (manganese ethylenebisdithiocarbamate) after extraction of the manganese-PAN complex in isobutyl methyl ketone (MIBK). The complex absorbs strongly at 550 nm. Beer's law
A novel and green method was developed for enrichment of maneb (manganese ethylene-bisdithiocarbamate) with a supramolecular solvent liquid phase microextraction method. The microextraction method has been used for the first time in the literature for separation-preconcentration of maneb. 1-decanol and

Permanent parkinsonism was observed in a man with chronic exposure to the fungicide maneb (manganese ethylene-bis-dithiocarbamate). Symptoms developed at 37 years of age, two years after exposure had ceased. To our knowledge, this is the second report on parkinsonism associated

Available data suggest that ethylenebisdithiocarbamates (EBDCs) may have immunomodulatory effects. This study aimed to investigate the immunological profile of farmers exposed to Mancozeb, an EBDC fungicide, through the determination of several serum, cellular, and functional immune parameters. Twenty-six healthy subjects

Liquid chromatography (LC) with diode array ultraviolet absorbance (DAD UV) detection is used for the simultaneous determination of the fungicide maneb and its main metabolites (ethylenethiourea--ETU, ethylenebis (isothiocyanate) sulfide--EBIS, and ethyleneurea--EU) in tomatoes. The identity of EBIS, one of the
