一般說明
MDM2在许多肿瘤中过表达。它的主要功能是p53抑癌蛋白的泛素化和降解。当Thr-216未被磷酸化时,该单克隆抗体还可识别鼠MDM2的Thr-216周围的肽表位。SMP14还可与某些细胞角蛋白(6、14 & 16)发生交叉反应。这仅在处理某些上皮细胞时会产生此问题,而成纤维细胞不会。
