应用

Highly purified CdSe/ZnS quantum dots with an octadecylamine surface contain extremely low free organic ligands and impurities. They are well suited for display, solid state lighting and solar cell applications. They can be used as an electroluminescence emitter in quantum dot based LEDs or embedded in a polymer matrix as the backlight of an LCD display. CdSe/ZnS quantum dots in solid form can be dispersed in most non-polar organic solvents such as toluene, chloroform, and hexane.[1][2][3]

  1. 900212, CdSe/ZnS core-shell type quantum dots Can we dispersed them in Water? Do they are stable in water?

    1. This product is not suitable for direct dispersion in water. It is recommended that these quantum dots be dispersed in chloroform containing a small drop of oleylamine.

  2. What does "solid" mean? Is it a "block" of quantum dots? Is it quantum dots contained in a block of some material? If so, what material? Is there someone I can talk to about your quantum dots?

    1. "Solid" means 900212 (CdSe/ZnS core-shell type quantum dots) is in powder form. There is no block to separate the quantum dots. The octadecylamine reactive group on the surface may help to re-disperse the powder into solution. Please contact the local technical service for more details.
