应用

在苯乙烯和二乙烯基苯的共聚过程中，将 S-（硫代苯甲酰基）硫代乙醇酸（（硫代苯甲酰基硫代）乙酸）用作可逆加成-断裂链转移（RAFT）剂。[3]它也被用作苯乙烯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯和丙烯酸丁酯的 RAFT 聚合的链转移剂。[4]
它可以用于合成以下物质：
  • 通过与 Dl-苏氨酸反应生成 N-硫代苯甲酰基-DL-苏氨酸乙酯。[2]
  • 通过与醇盐反应生成硫代苯甲酸 O-酯。[5]
  • N-硫代苯甲酰基氨基酸与氨基酸反应。[6]
