QIAcard™ FTA™ Gene (100) is a non-indicating three sample regions framed card utilized for the transportation, preservation, and collection of blood, cells, and tissue that are pigmented biological material.
Anwendung
QIAcardQ™ FTA™ Gene (100) has been used for:
- molecular biology and amplifying the whole genome
- identification of animals, insects, and transgenics
- genomics and plasmid screening
- medical transfusions and human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing
- drug development and short tandem repeat (STR) analysis
- testing food and agriculture

- Consists of a free radical scavenger and chemical denaturants
- Sample storage at ambient temperature for a long time
- Immediate DNA capture improves process efficiency for short tandem repeat (STR) analysis by allowing direct amplification
- Contained in stiff card frame allowing the use of automated pipetting/dispensing and punching devices
- Takes less than 30 minutes to capture nucleic acid for downstream applications
- While proteins and inhibitors are removed from the matrix, DNA stays firmly attached to flinders technology associates (FTA), at ambient temperature for years, minimizing laboratory freezers requirement.
