Anwendung
Ideal for adsorption of thiolated ligands such as oligonucleotides and polyethylene glycols. Also, due to the increased stability, these gold nanoparticles are ideal for use in physical and optical applications.
Note: This product is not ideal for protein adsorption. For gold nanoparticles suitable for adsorption of proteins and other ligands for conjugate development; please see our gold nanoparticles stabilized in PBS.
This material is highly monodisperse (<12% variability in size and shape); and provides significantly improved surface reactivity. Applications include Surface Enhanced Raman Labels, Sensing/Detection, Biological Targeting, Plasmonics and Electronics.
The removal of reactants means that further growth of the nanoparticles is also inhibited leading to a longer lasting material.

We demonstrated the plasmonic metallic nanostructure fabricated by direct nanoimprinting of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). This approach combines the patterning and lift-off processes into a simple one-step process without the need for expensive patterning lithographies and the stringent requirement of the

We have demonstrated a novel sensing strategy employing single-stranded probe DNA, unmodified gold nanoparticles, and a positively charged, water-soluble conjugated polyelectrolyte to detect a broad range of targets including nucleic acid (DNA) sequences, proteins, small molecules, and inorganic ions. By properly conjugating gold nanoparticles with specific peptides, we were successful in selectively transporting them to the nuclei of cancer cells. Confocal microscopy images of DNA double-strand breaks showed that localization of gold nanoparticles at the nucleus of a cancer
