Cell penetrant and potent inhibitor of human enterovirus 71 (EV71) translation and replication that targets the IRES domain of EV71
DMA-135 is a cell penetrant and potent inhibitor of human enterovirus 71 (EV71) translation and replication that targets the IRES domain of EV71. DMA-135 binds allosterically to EV71 SLII RNA and stabilizes ternary complex consisting of AUF1-SLII-DMA-135. Also, previous data indicate that DMA-135 exhibit comparable affinity to HIV-1-TAR and HIV-2-TAR.
