Anti-NT5C1A Antibody detects endogenous levels of total NT5C1A protein. The NT5C1A (5′-nucleotidase, cytosolic IA) gene is mapped to human chromosome 1p34. The protein encoded is ubiquitously expressed and is localized to the cytoplasm.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human NT5C1A.
Immunogen Range: 151-200
Biochem/physiol Actions
NT5C1A (5′-nucleotidase, cytosolic IA) forms a tetramer with AMP (adenosine monophosphate) and serves as a primary substrate in adenosine pathway to control the level of metabolite produced. NT5C1A catalyzes the dephosphorylation of AMP to adenosine.
