Supel™Flash Cartridges
SupelFlash cartridges are pre-compressed, disposable flash columns containing ultrapure silica, designed to meet your stringent flash purification requirements. Cartridge pre-compression reduces particle interstitial spacing to provide even mass transfer and balanced chemical interaction.

Female luer lock inlet and male slip luer outlet for easy compatibility

  3. Can Supel™ Flash silica cartridges be re-used?

    1. It is not recommended that SupelTM Flash silica cartridges be re-used. There is nothing inherent in the silica that prevents re-use of the cartridges.  However, the polypropylene body of the cartridges swells in contact with the solvents commonly used in normal phase separations.  Cartridge swelling leads to bed disruption and subsequent poor performance.

  4. What flash chromatography systems are Supel™ Flash cartridges compatible with?

    1. SupelTM Flash cartridges will fit any system that uses male Luer or male Luer-lok inlet fittings and female Luer outlet fittings.  These include the Companion, CombiFlash, CombiFlash  Rf, and Retrieve systems by Teledyne ISCO, IntelliFlash and SimpliFlash systems by Analogix, and Isolera systems by Biotage.  Only simple adaptation is required to use SupelTM Flash cartridges in Biotage Horizon systems.
