Anti-CYTL1 antibody detects endogenous levels of total CYTL1 protein.
The CYTL1 (cytokine like 1) gene is mapped to human chromosome 4p16.2. The gene was first discovered in CD34(+) cells of the bone marrow and cord blood. The encoded protein is predominantly expressed in chondrocytes.
면역원
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human CYTL1.
Immunogen Range: 61-110
생화학적/생리학적 작용
In vitro studies reveal that Cytl1 (cytokine like 1) acts as an autocrine or paracrine regulatory factor in the process of cartilage formation. CYTL1, being homologous with IL-2 (interleukin-2), is considered as a potential cytokine that is involved in regulating immune responses. CYTL1 is known to be associated with the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Arginine-vasopressin (AVP) binding to vasopressin V2 receptors promotes redistribution of the water channel aquaporin-2 (AQP2) from intracellular vesicles into the plasma membrane of renal collecting duct principal cells. This pathway fine-tunes renal water reabsorption and urinary concentration, and its perturbation
