생화학적/생리학적 작용

Thrombospondin-2 (TSP2) is an extracellular matrix (ECM) protein involved in regulating fracture healing.[1] In addition, it also regulates cell-matrix interactions.[1] TSP2 plays a vital role in assembly of collagen fibrils in the skin.[2] It is involved in tissue repair and foreign body responses.[3] The matricellular protein TSP2 endogenously controls angiogenesis and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis patients.[3] It also acts as an endogenous inhibitor of tumor growth.[4]
