애플리케이션

Human bFGF ELISA kit has been used:
  • to quantify the level of residual cytokines in decellularized meningeal scaffolds (DMS)[1]
  • to measure cytokine levels in acellularized meningeal scaffolds (AMS) and recovered meningeal tissues (RMS/CMS)[2]
  • to analyze basic-fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) concentration in cell culture medium[3]

생화학적/생리학적 작용

FGF2 (fibroblast growth factor 2, also referred to as BFGF (basic fibroblast growth factor)) interacts with FGFR1 (fibroblast growth factor receptor 1), FGFR2 and FGFR3.[4] It stimulates the proliferation of a wide variety of cells, including mesenchymal, neuroectodermal and endothelial cells.[5][6][7] FGF2 also determines the fate of neural precursor cells and promotes neuronal axon regeneration. It plays an important role in spinal cord injury repair.[8] FGF2 is known to stimulate angiogenesis and is associated with cancer development.[9] High levels of FGF2 are present in the kidney of children with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus)-renal diseases.[10] MicroRNA (miR)-503 targets FGF2 mRNA and inhibits migration and invasiveness of osteosarcoma (OS) cells.[11]
