생화학적/생리학적 작용

NXF3 (nuclear RNA export factor 3) gene is a member of the nuclear RNA export factor genes but does not bind RNA or localize to the nuclear rim. It does not function in RNA export activity. It is expressed in human testes and may function in male germ cell development. It lacks the C-terminal domain that is responsible for transport in Tap family members. Instead, it possesses an NES that is exported by the karyopherin exportin-1 and RanGTP.
