The Human Protein Atlas project can be subdivided into three efforts: Human Tissue Atlas, Cancer Atlas, and Human Cell Atlas. 생화학적/생리학적 작용

FLOT1 (flotillin 1) gene encodes a scaffolding factor that plays an important role in the regulation of MAP kinase signaling. FLOT1 plays a role in tumor progression in several types of cancer such as human transitional cell carcinoma, oral squamous cell carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer and may be used as a potential target for cancer therapy.[1] Flotillin 1 and 2 are involved in the stabilization of cadherins at cell-cell junctions.
