Cyclanilide is typically employed as a plant growth inhibitor in cotton, either to inhibit vegetative growth (in combination with mepiquat chloride) or to promote senescence (in combination with ethephon).[1]

애플리케이션

Cyclanilide may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
  • Infant formula[2] and milk samples[3] by ultra-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS).
  • Cotton seed oil samples by solid-phase extraction (SPE) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with ultraviolet (UV) detection.[4]
