Poly (ethylene glycol) can be used as a test compound utilized in the overproduction and purification of recombinant Lactobacillus reuteri LrNDT.[1] It can also be used for concentrating the mutants with lower secretion levels used in ELISAs for the quantitation of shgp190 and of the LIF/shgp190 complexes.[2]
