Selected Applications of MOFs in Sustainable Energy Technologies

Biphenyl-3,4′,5-tricarboxylic acid (H3BPT) may be used to prepare porous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for gas adsorption, photocatalytic activity and magnetic properties.[3] H3BPT and (bis)imidazole linkers may be used to prepare coordination polymers (CPs) by hydrothermal process. CPs may be used in gas storage, catalysis, ion exchange etc.[2]
