애플리케이션

4,6-Dimethoxy-2-(methylsulfonyl)pyrimidine may be used in the microwave assisted preparation of 4,6-dimethoxy-N-methylpyrimidin-2-amine by reacting with methylamine.[2] It may also be used to prepare 2′-pyrimidinecarbonylsulfonanilide derivatives with potent herbicidal activity.[3]
