ADORA2B (adenosine A2b receptor) is a G-protein coupled receptor. It is the most adenosine insensitive adenosine receptor. This gene is located on human chromosome 17p12-p11.2.
Immunogen
Peptide with sequence CQADVKSGNGQ from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_000667.1.
Biochem/physiol Actions
ADORA2B (adenosine A2b receptor) acts as a therapeutic target for cancer treatment. The tumor cells can use A2b receptor to induce progression. ADORA2B controls immune cell activity. It plays a major role in the transcriptional induction and protein stability of protein period 2 (Per2).

New immune checkpoints are emerging in a bid to improve response rates to immunotherapeutic drugs. The adenosine A2A receptor (A2AR) has been proposed as a target for immunotherapeutic development due to its participation in immunosuppression of the tumor microenvironment. Blockade
Pharmacogenetics of asthma.
