Anti-ADCY6 antibody produced in chicken is suitable for western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Adenylate cyclase type 6 is an enzyme encoded by the ADCY6 gene in humans. It is a critical regulator of metabolic and cardiovascular function. It is expressed principally in lipid rafts or caveolae of cardiac myocytes and other cell types. It is localized in lipid rafts of COS-7 cells (expressing caveolin-1). Both the C1 and C2 domains of AC6 play a role in targeting AC6 to lipid rafts.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide.

Previous data has shown that adenylyl cyclase type 6 (AC6) is expressed principally in lipid rafts or caveolae of cardiac myocytes and other cell types while certain other isoforms of AC are excluded from these microdomains. The mechanism by which

Adenylyl cyclase (ADCY) is a critical regulator of metabolic and cardiovascular function. We have identified a genetic variant (A674S) in ADCY isoform 6 (ADCY6). Subsequent studies demonstrated that the expression of this ADCY6 variant paralleled an increase in adenylyl cyclase-mediated
