General description

IgM is a glycoprotein antibody that regulates humoral immune responses. Mouse IgM is involved in modulating B cell memory . This antibody isotype has also been implicated in the development of autoimmune responses associated with the pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes in mice . Anti-Mouse IgM (μ-chain specific)-Peroxidase antibody is specific for mouse IgM when tested against purified mouse IgA, IgM, and IgG.

Immunogen

Purified mouse IgM

Application

Anti-Mouse IgM (μ-chain specific)-Peroxidase antibody produced in goat has also been used in:
  • western blotting
  • enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
  • immunohistochemistry
