General description
Each unit of SRM 3451 contains a bar-shaped artifact of chemical formula Bi2Te3+x, measuring approximately 3.5 mm × 2.5 mm × 8.0 mm. The material is non-stoichiometric bismuth telluride, with n-type conductivity and a Bi/Te mole ratio of about2/3.

Application
This SRM is intended to calibrate Seebeck coefficient measurement instruments for bulk materials within the temperature range of 10 K to 390 K.
