General description
An artificial membrane protein consisting of the extracellular region of human Claudin 5.
Specificity
Clone 2B12 is a mouse monoclonal antibody that detects human Claudin 5. It targets an epitope within nine amino acids in the second extracellular domain.
Application
Epitope: extracellular domain
Quality
Evaluated by Flow Cytometry in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC).
Flow Cytometry Analysis: 1 µg of this antibody detected Claudin 5 one million human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC).
Flow Cytometry Analysis: 1 µg of this antibody detected Claudin 5 one million human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC).
Physical properties
23.15 kDa calculated.
Physical form
Purified mouse monoclonal antibody IgG2a in PBS without azide.
Storage and Stability
Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
