General description

This product has been discontinued.



Used to biotinylate amino acids, peptides, or proteins by reacting with primary amines under mild conditions. Inserts a 6-atom spacer between biotin and the target ligand, thereby alleviating steric hindrance. Useful for red blood cell survival studies.

Analog of Biotin-NHS ester containing a 6-aminocaproic acid "X" spacer arm. Used to biotinylate amino acids, peptides, or proteins by reacting with primary amines under mild conditions. Inserts a six atom spacer between biotin and the target ligand that helps alleviate steric hindrance.
