ATPに結合するタンパク質と酵素に対する、フォトアフィニティーラベルとして有用です。
2′(3′)-O-(4-ベンゾイルベンゾイル)アデノシン5′-三リン酸塩トリエチルアンモニウム塩は、ラット腎臓切片、I型糖尿病を誘発したラットおよび星状膠細胞−ニューロン共培養におけるP2X4受容体アゴニストとして使用されています。また、等張E3培地の合成ATP類似体としても使用されています。
Biochem/physiol Actions
P2X選択的プリン作動性アゴニストです。ホモ二量体であるP2X7受容体に対して、ATPよりも強力に作用します。
2′(3′)-O-(4-ベンゾイルベンゾイル)アデノシン 5′-三リン酸塩トリエチルアンモニウム塩は、選択性に優れたプリン受容体（P2X）アゴニストで、ホモ二量体P2X7受容体においてはATPよりも有効です。また、P2X1、P2X2、およびP2X3受容体を効果的に活性化します。ATPを結合するタンパク質と酵素に対する光親和性標識としても有用です。
