General description
水溶液中では、会合定数 5× 104 M-1で二量体を形成します。この二量体化により、αらせん含量が約35%増加します。
Application
Apo A-IIは、高密度リポタンパク質(HDL)のタンパク部分の約20%を占めています。
Biochem/physiol Actions
Apo A-Iとは異なり、apo A-IIはlecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase(LCAT)を活性化する性質を有していません。そのうえ、apo A-IによるLCATの活性化がapo A-IIによって阻害されることが明らかになっています。
