General description

This certified Snap-N-Spike® solution is suitable for use as a starting material in calibrators and controls for numerous GC/MS or LC/MS applications in forensic analysis, clinical toxicology and urine drug testing. As a major metabolite, 7-aminoclonazepam may be used to monitor use of the parent drug, clonazepam. Clonazepam, marketed as Klonopin® and Rivotril, is a long-acting benzodiazepine with anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, and hypnotic properties.

The benzodiazepine clonazepam is a prescription drug used to treat epilepsy and anxiety. In addition, it is frequently used to treat drug addicts and is itself a popular drug of abuse. In this study, we report the incidence and blood

We investigated the role of NAT2 on clonazepam acetylation, using transiently expressed human NAT2 alleles. The NAT25*B and the NAT2*6A variant alleles cause a 20 and 22-fold reduction in the Vmax, respectively. We conclude that NAT2 is responsible for 7-aminoclonazepam

Urinary analyses of the metabolite 7-aminoclonazepam (7-AC) can be helpful in monitoring drug abuse and in the context of suspected drug-facilitated sexual assaults (DFSA). Only two studies have reported detection times of 7-AC in urine after a single dose of

A considerable amount of 7-aminoclonazepam (ACZP), a major metabolite of clonazepam (CZP), is present in the brain during CZP treatment, yet the pharmacological properties of ACZP remain unknown. We investigated the effects of ACZP on the GABA(A) receptor-mediated currents (I(GABA))
