General description

Fully methylated Jurkat DNA. 5-methyl-cytidine (5mC) content determined by mass spectrometry. See lot specific certificate of analysis or vial label for 5mC content of each lot.

Application

Methylated Control DNA has been used as a negative control in bisulfite sequencing of embryonic genomic DNA.

  1. Hello. Is this product a whole genomic DNA? Is it fragmented?

    1. This product is methylated Jurkat DNA (T cell leukemia). Unfortunately, we do not evaluate the molecular weight of the product. However, it's genomic DNA.

    1. This product is dissolved in a TE buffer consisting of 10 mM Tris-HCl with 1 mM EDTA.

    1. As mentioned on the product detail page, the % 5mC content is reported in the lot specific Certificate of Analysis, as well as the product label. The specification for 5mC is >/= 4.5%.
