Applicazioni

The Human Protein Atlas project can be subdivided into three efforts: Human Tissue Atlas, Cancer Atlas, and Human Cell Atlas. Azioni biochim/fisiol

Melanoma antigen family A8 is referred as CT1.8 and MAGE8. The gene belongs to MAGEA gene family and is localized to chromosome Xq28. In human, MAGE sequences are conserved in primates, but less well conserved in other vertebrate species. It is highly expressed in very small number of tumors.
